My own experience at Rumble highlights this growth. After just a month, the audience size for my videos is as big as if not higher than on YouTube -- just as my Substack articles are read by 5x as many as at the Intercept. People want/trust platforms independent & censorship-free

NEW - Philosopher Peter Boghossian today resigned from his teaching post at Portland State University because "students are not being taught to think. Rather, they are being trained to mimic the moral certainty of ideologues."

“The ACLU, Prior to COVID, Denounced Mandates and Coercive Measures to Fight Pandemics“

“ In a New York Times op-ed this week, the group completely reversed its views, arguing vaccine mandates help civil liberties and bodily autonomy "is not absolute."”

How much of our lives is a lie?
We learned the past 20 was totally false in Afghanistan. “We’re winning the war. It’s not even close” was the line out of DC for decades.
Total failure and loss.
Ok, let’s try healthcare.
Ivermectin is a miracle cure for the coof.
Pharma needs to make a few billion on the backs of dead people instead. Government lies and tells us there’s no treatment.
How about getting an itemized bill for your hospital stay? Nope! Hospitals pay a $300/day fine to keep from it.

Well, we know what side of the narrative Ars Technica is on 🙄

If you're a *ix CLI type, one of my recent-ish discoveries is the "j" command. As you chdir around, it remembers the directories you've visited. You can then do:

$ j blurb

and it'll cd you to the most recent path where "blurb" matches a part of the path. (There's also "jd" for a pushd to it.)

It's just unbelievably convenient to be able to warp to some previous place by just mentioning a snippet of its path.

A "podcast" behind a paywall is not a podcast.

A "podcast" that only one app can receive is not a podcast.

A "podcast" without a public feed that can be freely pulled into any podcast client or RSS reader is not a damn podcast, don't let people get away with calling it that.

For YEARS now I've been running my own email server, and I suck so bad at that kind of thing. Like installing Arch Linux, it was only because I stopped listening to people tell me how hard it was and tried it for myself. Nothing exploded. I didn't get doxed or miss out on the opportunity with that Nigerian prince or anything. #protonmail

@vandys @lightweight it's been the case with our email host and we haven't been able to change anything about it for years. We are just completely powerless in front of behemoths like Google.
Same sentiment even with an account on one of their products: our problem with a video on PlaySite never got a reply, and we were redirected to the community support forum, and no response there either.
To the tech behemoths, individuals are just one data point. That's how it feels to me right now.

Del Bigtree's on a roll today. Has a pathologist on, lots of amazing information. I had no idea how many C19 autopsies have been documented in a scientific paper in the USA (1).

Keep your eyes on ADE in the context of vaccine fade.

We cannot let this art go by without saying it could have easily won for today's show. And is a Mike Riley winner.

@becassine The best way to rebel today is to get married, start a family, and practice and raise your children to practice traditional virtues: discipline, thrift, modesty, charity to one's neighbors, etc.
